Scenes from my Dreams

Notes: Foods Eaten: ... The Dream: I was in North Carolina, visiting my parents. I was sitting on a bed, but I wasn't paying enough attention to recognize if it was familiar or unfamiliar surroundings. I was on the phone, talking to my friend James on speaker phone when my mom walked in the room and asked, "Who is this new guy you're on the phone with all the time?" I half smiled and replied, "Uhh... that's James." My mom gave me a condescending look and questioned, "Should you be on the phone with another man?" Annoyed, I exclaimed, "Mom!" She started to retort and I was now becoming embarrassed that James was still on speaker phone and listening to my mom and I getting heated, so I whispered into the phone, "I gotta go..." and hung up. Notes: For some reason, the thought that triggered this memory was my best friend's name, Mary. But I can't seem to recall her being anywhere in this dream. Weird. Foods Eaten: Apple... I think that's all I really had for dinner Dream Location: In a car, at an unfamiliar lake house The Dream: I was in a car with my boyfriend, my ex-boyfriend, John, and my Dad driving. We were talking about pets, particularly me wanting to adopt a Pomeranian. When I mentioned adopting a Pomeranian out loud, my boyfriend made a face at me, so I appended my statement - changing Pomeranian to American Eskimo - the kind of dog my boyfriend wants. My boyfriend and Dad didn't seem overly enthused by the conversation, but my ex offered some support, talking about how his parents let his twin sister adopt a dog, and also let him adopt his own dog as well. Notes: I wasn't feeling very good this morning, so I went back to sleep for another couple hours. I got an overload of cute in the dream I had! Foods Eaten: Fried Rice, Crab Rangoons (last night, nothing for breakfast before I went back to sleep) Dream Location: Lake Type House? The Dream: My family was in our house... everything was normal, except there were five kittens! Somehow we knew that my cat was the dad (even though he is neutered) , but we had no idea where the mother of the kittens was, or how they got in our house. I distinctly remember a description of three of them, but not sure about the others... There was an all black one with white paws and a star on his chest, long haired. Light gray one with dark gray stripes, white chest and legs, short haired. Silverish one with dark gray stripes, white chest and legs, long haired. This one was my favorite, and looked exactly like my cat, except silver instead of orange. The kittens were very playful, but kind of ...
