Scenes from my Dreams

Notes: Not feeling great, took a random afternoon nap... The Dream: (I'm pretty sure the beginning had to do with a conversation at my boyfriend's parent's house last night... his dad wanted us to check on his sister because she hadn't replied to any texts that day.)  I don't know where I was to start, but I had my phone in my hand. I just received a text from Trevor's dad asking us to check in on his sister Sandy. I had this terrible feeling in my gut, like something was really wrong, so I did a quick Facebook look up and saw people were commenting things like heart emoji's and "We'll miss you," on her profile photo. I decided I needed to go check on her. Although I don't know how I got there, I ended up walking down a long gravel road, clearly in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by forest. I could see a small little house through the woods in the distance that resembled Sandy's house, but something got jumbled along the way. ...

Notes: It's getting annoying that I can remember so many different parts of a dream, but not the bridges that connect one part to the next. Foods Eaten: Greek Salad The Dream: (Everything is out of order, I don't know what came first in the sequences, going off intuition...) I was standing in a dirt parking lot. There didn't appear to be any major buildings around, and didn't look like anyone had parked in the lot for years. I was with a group of people (friends, I think) and one of them was leading a horse. My sister was standing far opposite us, on the other side of the parking lot. She was riding one of her horses and a few of the other girls that work at her barn were with her, also on horseback. The person near me that had a horse wanted to let it go check out the other horses. Somehow my sister heard and advised that it was a bad idea and not to do that. The person let the horse off its lead anyway and it bolted across the parking lot toward my sister. There ...

Dream Location: Somewhere in Hawaii The Dream: I was walking along an eerie, seemingly abandoned bridge or peer over an ocean in Hawaii. There was a group of people walking down the peer with me, including my mom and sister. The ocean wasn't pretty like you'd expect, it seemed like a hurricane had recently come through. The ocean was a muddy dark blue, and the sky was dark and cloudy, verging on a storm. I remember thinking that we should turn back, but continued going anyway, at least until the bridge came to an abrupt stop where part of it collapsed. We didn't have any choice except to turn back now... The next thing I remember... I was sitting at a bar. It was crowded, the floor was carpet, the room was dimly lit and the counters were red. There was a bartender, minding his own business. A guy I did not know approached me and struck up a conversation.

Notes:  ... Dream Location: The top floor of my house The Dream: I was in the top floor of my house, which used to be my old bedroom. It was laid out exactly the same. My sister and friend, Rachael, were laying on my bed. TJ and I had built one of those intricate tent things using blankets and chairs across the floor. We were camping under our blanket tent, laying next to each other underneath another blanket. I'm not sure if any of us were talking, but suddenly the room was swarming with lady bugs. Rachael and my sister ended up crawling in the blanket tent with us, and we were all hiding under blankets waiting for the lady bugs to go away.

Notes:  I slept with my hair up in foils last night (dying it), so I didn't get the best sleep in the world. Woke up a lot. Foods Eaten:  Just snacked on random things throughout the day... my hair took too long and by the time I finished I just wanted to go to bed and not eat. Dream Location:  Hotel of some sort The Dream: I was standing on a floor of a hotel, in front of the elevators. There were staircases that spiraled around each side of me. A random, older guy walked out of the elevator and proceeded to complain about foreigners... but he had some sort of European accent. I was kind of amused by his hypocrisy, so I just smiled at him as he walked by. Now I've noticed TJ and my sister are with me. The elevator seems to be taking forever to get to us, so I decide it will be quicker to just go use the stairs. TJ and my sister decide that it's now become a race, especially since right as I started walking up the stairs, the elevator arrived. I ran quickly ...

Notes: None really to speak for... Foods Eaten: Garlic Noodles and Kahlua Cheesecake Dream Location: I have no idea. It was outside and in a building, no where I recognized. The Dream: I was in motion (I'm not sure whether I was walking or driving, or some other mode of dream transportation) with my sister. She was kind of down in the dumps, I think she had broken up with her boyfriend, Mike. We drove past a large metal building, and she told me to turn in there. I did, and then we were just standing in a large, mostly empty room, with a cement floor. There was a tattered couch and there was a cage nearby. I walked over to the cage and saw a small fuzzy animal pushed up against the edge of it - but it was outside of the cage instead of in it. At first, it looked kind of like my dog, but as I bent down to pick it up, it turned more into a cat looking animal. It developed distinct black stripes on a dark burnt orange color. My sister noted, "He's a tiger cub." I ...

Notes: I find it strange that I had this dream, since I have absolutely no celebrity crush on Keanu Reeves what-so-ever. Dream Location: On a road, in my house The Dream: I was in a car, driving, with my sister in the back seat. It was a metallic blue color, but I'm not sure what type of car it was. I was talking to my sister and I referenced from what she was saying that Keanu Reeves had apparently given me the car and was my boyfriend. I'm not sure how I responded, but I recall suddenly driving through a thick foresty field. The "road" was more of a narrow dirt path that continually curved about. And then I was at home. Keanu Reeves was there, and this time he had apparently just proposed to me. I had accepted the proposal, but I was wondering to myself if it's what I really wanted to do. I even recall thinking "...he's a bit older than me, I'm not even sure how we met and got together, but he's a nice guy and he's famous..." I...

Notes: ... Foods Eaten: Greek Salad, Frozen Yogurt Dream Location: On a boat The Dream: The first thing I can remember was swimming around some very clear blue ocean water. I had my camera and my huge new lens, which I was about to take some pictures with. My Aunt Sue had just climbed up a ladder onto the back of a platform, which I'm not sure was a part of a regular old speed boat or a part of the cruise ship we were apparently on. Whatever the case, she posed, as I shot a couple pictures with my camera. The camera was going slow, and I kept missing because my Aunt was moving by the time the picture was actually being taken. I checked to see if the flash was open, because sometimes that causes my camera to be slower. Naturally, it was, so I closed it. I was then able to take my pictures with no flaws. Transitioned... to being back on the cruise ship. I was at a lower floor, and there was a security guy checking ID's as people were coming into the ship. There was an ...

Notes: ... Foods Eaten: Pizza Dream Location: I think at a beach? The Dream: I recall laying out on some blankets in the grass, but for some reason I also recall it being a very tropical atmosphere, like we were at the beach. My sister and TJ were sitting on a blanket with me, and the drummer from the band Souls Harbor, Justin, was sitting on the other blanket with another guy that I didn't recognize. We were chatty, Justin was acting strangely hyper and bubbly. He and the guy he was with disappeared for a minute, and my sister, TJ and I got up and walked around. Eventually we walked back to the blankets we'd been sitting on, and across the way I saw Justin sitting on a different blanket. My sister pointed at him and said, "Look, he has blue hair!" Sure enough, I looked closer and saw he now had highlighted blue streaks in his hair.

Notes: I typed in the title of this entry and realized that I'd already named another dream entry the same thing. I thought that was kind of weird. I had forgotten about the other dream, but when I read it, it was perplexing how similar it was. Foods Eaten: Steak Dream Location: Some version of my buddy Landon's house The Dream: I was inside of a small house - or seemed more like a room in an apartment complex. It was old, wood panel walls, old lady wall paper, very neutral tan/brown color scheme. My friend, Landon's, mom was there, and I believe his sister was as well. My sister was also with me, though we were being sort of skittish. There was a red laser dot following us around, and I had come in the house to hide from it. Landon's mom was chit chatting us a little bit, when I saw the red dot and panicked again. I looked around accessing all the windows we could be seen through and tried to devise a way to crawl across the ceiling in order to avoid possibly ...

Notes: My sister is dating someone she actually likes and apparently my subconscious is implying they are moving too fast. Dream Location: In a restaurant? The Dream: I was sitting at a booth table in what seemed to be a Texas Roadhouse Steak restaurant with my old grade school friend, Tana. I had just gotten news that my sister had gotten engaged to her new (by new I mean one-two weeks at most) boyfriend. For some reason, I was the one holding on to her ring, though it was not a typical ring. It was ornate, silver and double banded, studded with diamonds, but it could expand and contract. I was wearing it around my wrist. I was essentially venting at Tana about my disapproval. I seem to recall going up a flight of stairs with Tana, and encountering my sister and TJ, though I don't know what else was going on.

Notes: Aww! I'd be so sad if this happened, even though my puppy does have his annoying moments. Foods Eaten: Way too much Brie cheese. Dream Location: In an unfamiliar house. The Dream: I was in what seemed to be an unfamiliar house. I had just come home and went to go greet my puppy, but I couldn't find him. I asked my mom where he was, and though I don't think she answered, I came to the conclusion that he had been taken to an animal shelter and put up for adoption. (Surprising what dreams will convince you of...) I came to the conclusion that mom was probably right, that my puppy was a nuisance and we weren't able to give him enough time and the love that he needed... Fortunately, it didn't take long for me to get depressed about it and start thinking about how big of a mistake I was making just giving my puppy up like that. I started crying and freaking out. I ran up a flight of stairs that lead me directly into my sisters room, and she was sitting on ...

Notes: I had an excessive number of dreams last night, and amazingly remember them all. I'm going to say alcohol helped induce these. Foods Eaten: Can't remember what I had for dinner, but I had a snack of Jalapeno chips and a good number of rum and cokes... Dream Location: My bedroom. The Dream: I was laying on my bed in my room, though my bed wasn't in it's usual spot. TJ was in the room with me, standing near my door. He took off his shirt, then announced he'd be back in a second, presumably going to use the bathroom. As he turned to walk out the door, I saw his bare back, and noticed he had a tattoo on his right shoulder blade. It was very fine-artsy, inked in all black. It was a lighthouse with a landscape drawn in front, and to the right, was just a black box... like a small house for the lighthouse keeper or something. Examining the tattoo, it looked brand new, the skin around it red with irritation. I was puzzled, trying to figure out when and where T...

Notes: ... Foods Eaten: Cheesey stuff Dream Location: Mostly in a parking lot The Dream: As far as I can trace my memory back, I am sitting on a hardwood floor somewhere with TJ. He is holding a bag of Starburst, which he opens up and proceeds to eat one. Now I'm in a car with my parents, I think it's our Jeep. My dad is driving, my mom is in the passenger seat. I am sitting in the back with TJ. I look out the rear window and notice my friend, Wes, is driving behind us. Though I don't remember the conversations that were taking place, I do remember that we were on the way out to eat - and for some reason, I feel like it was probably going to be at an Italian restaurant. Looking to the right, I saw my sister filling up a car (not sure which one) , at a gas station. She waved at us, and my dad turned right into the gas station. Wes followed. We all got out of our cars to talk about where we were going to meet. The conversation some how turned into my mom breaking ...

Notes: Some friends of mine are all planning to go on a cruise together some time this year, we've been discussing who is going to go and what destination we want, so I'm guessing this was a result of some conversation. Even though its rather brief. Foods Eaten: Chicken Noodle Soup Dream Location: On Facebook... sad The Dream: The entirety of this dream happened withing a facebook message... all I was doing was reading new messages. I had recently sent one about wanting to go to the Caribbean as a destination for our cruise, and stated that I didn't think my sister or our friend Landon would realistically end up going. They both replied, saying that they did want to go, but neither of them wanted to go to the Caribbean, and instead elaborated about going to Alaska or something out west instead. (I didn't realize the fallacy of this until I woke up, as it would be rather difficult to take a cruise into the mid-west...)

Notes: Alarm clock woke me up, and I knew I'd had a dream - it took me a good five minutes to go through a million different thoughts about what it could be before a thought about a dog shaped cake crossed my mind, and that was it. Foods Eaten: Eggnog Dream Location: Airport The Dream: I was walking down an airport terminal with my cousin Rachel. There were a bunch of guys I didn't really know following us. Rachel walked into a big room that branched off the terminal, but it was set up like a classroom. There were lots of tables with chairs behind them, all facing the same direction. Teenagers were sitting at them. Rachel sat down at one of the desks, and I followed her. I don't think I sat down on anything, but I don't remember standing either. Actually, I don't remember a class happening at all after that, but I knew time had passed. We got up and Rachel walked to a table across the room. There was a guy there that I had never met, but he took the for...

Notes: This one was slightly sporadic. The beginning is a bit gruesome. Foods Eaten: Taco Salad Dream Location: Inside a video game, inside a random house, and outside a twisted version of my house. The Dream: First, I was playing a very twisted video game with my sister. We were actual characters, inside of the video game... not actually using controllers of any sort. There wasn't terribly much of a plot line, but the characters were supposed to represent some sort of hunter, each having a pet dog. The objective of the game was to get to the next level by finding the hidden upgrade dog in each level and catching it to become yours. This doesn't sound so bad, except, in order to catch it, you had to kill the dog. Then you had to rip out the dog's entrails to be used as some sort of magical armor, which allowed you to summon whatever type of dog the organ/intestines armor came from. At any rate, my sister and I were playing and about to finish the first level. I ...

Notes: Another scatter-brained dream. Foods Eaten: Fruit Smoothie Dream Location: No where recognizable. The Dream: (I'm just going to write paragraphs for each of these, because I can't seem to recall the sequence of events. They all just seem like mismatched ideas.) I'm in a family room with my dad. Apparently, I'd collected some loose change and dollar bills from around the house and asked him to deposit them into the bank for me. But he said he counted the money I gave him and it didn't add up right, he said there was some missing from a box. He started making accusations of someone stealing the money from me. (I'm not sure how this makes sense in hindsight,) but I told him that I had added the money from the box to the entire total. He accepted that as fact and said it all added up right after that. I'm riding a horse down a street, it's dark out. I don't seem to have an objective, but I get to a cul-de-sac where my sister is standi...

Notes: It was really weird, I saw a black smudge mark (probably from my eye makeup) on my arm while I was in the shower this morning, and it triggered my memory for this dream. Foods Eaten: Eggnog and Cookies! Dream Location: Foresty area, Hotel? The Dream: I was in a car with my parents, we were driving through a very grassy and foresty area, with a river running beside the path we were on. It wasn't a solid road, just a dirt path. It was pouring rain, we could barley see out the windows of the car, but I pointed out some sort of clear tube/tunnel that crossed over the river. It had water running through it, it looked sort of like a water slide. We drove past a clearing that had tons of mushrooms in it. I remember someone talking about it for a minute, but I don't think it was anyone in the car, and I don't know what they said. Next thing I know, I am in a large room (imaybe a hotel lobby?) with my best friend, Mary, and our other friend, Angela. They are both a...

Notes: I'm really failing with the dream memory lately... Foods Eaten: Hot Buffalo Wings Dream Location: Large Building/Mall? The Dream: I was immersed in a TV show or movie, I think. I was watching Agent Scully, from the X-files, standing with three other girls. They appeared to be outside of a large building, probably a hotel. The three girls caught a bus or taxi to go somewhere, Scully said she would catch up with them, and started running after the bus in her high heels. Suddenly, I was in a large mall, with my little sister. We had just run up an escalator, and ran into a large department store. There were shelves surrounding us, and they were stacked high with cans of soup. My sister grabbed a can of chicken noodle soup and exclaimed, "OH! I looove chicken noodle soup!" Most of the rest of the guts of this dream are lost in my memory. The dream ended with an actual credit roll, right before the alarm clock woke me up.
