Scenes from my Dreams

Notes: ... Foods Eaten: Shrimp with Rice The Dream: Obviously there had to be some sort of prelude, but I don't recall anything until... I was outside, it was probably around 8:00, right after the sun had gone down. I was walking down a very lush grassy field that had two college basketball teams playing on it (one of the teams was UNC, but no idea on the other). Though they had a basketball, there was a second one sitting idle in the middle of their grass court. I was apparently on a mission to get this basketball ( though I don't recall it being mine, I guess it was ). I stealthy walked around the outskirts of the court, so as not to get in the players way. As I was about to run in and get the ball, one of the players got to it first, accidentally kicking it to the opposite side of the field. I began my long walk back around the court to the opposite side... Halfway to the other side of the court, I ran into my old friend, Tana. She asked if I was able to get the bal...

Notes: So the night before last, I took a B-vitamin, drank orange juice, and ate a banana - all which are supposedly helpful inducing lucid dreams and dream recall. In case you didn't notice, yesterday I didn't remember having a single dream, much less lucid. However I definitely had one that was all over the place last night! Foods Eaten: Greek Salad, Ice cream Dream Location: Some sort of apartment room, in a car, a downtown somewhere... The Dream: For some reason, my first memory is inside of a sort of distraught disheveled room. The carpet was a murky brown color, and it had that really fuzzy shag texture. The walls were a lighter sort of brown, and they were paneled. There was an ugly sofa in the room. My parents were sitting on it. I'm not totally sure what the situation was, but I seem to recall accidentally pushing my dad or leaning on him and him responding in pain. I asked what was wrong, and he said, "Internal bleeding around my chest." I asked ...

Notes: Not that this has anything to do with what happened in my strange dream, but one of our family dogs passed away last night. =( Foods Eaten: Lots of bread and a salad Dream Location: In an upstairs hallway of a house, outside The Dream: I was roller skating around a hardwood floor that seemed to be the upstairs of a house - though I'm not sure who's. My old school friend, Tana, was with me, also roller skating around. We were talking, though I don't remember the conversation. There was a staircase to the right, which Tana disappeared down. I went to follow, but the staircase seemed to have led me straight outside - with Tana nowhere to be seen. Instead, I found my soon-to-be cousin, Debra. We began chatting, though I, as usual, don't remember what about. I do remember her pointing across the very lush lawn that we were now in, at her fiancée (my actual cousin), Josh. I then remember her talking about creating framed presentations for all of his photogr...

Notes: Finally had an excessively vivid and detailed dream. Foods Eaten: Eggnog Dream Location: It was at a sort of strip mall, outside. Lots of stores. The thing that seemed most out of place in hindsight was that there was a stadium attached to the strip mall... with a regular sort of store entrance. The Dream: I was at CVS with my dad. I'm not totally sure why I was there, but I knew my dad was dropping me of at a UNC basketball game after we left. I also knew that the stadium where the basketball game was at was right next to the CVS. My dad asked me if I was ready to go, I told him to hold on a second. I was walking through the aisles until I got to the back of the store and noticed that they had a relatively nice looking buffet bar. There was tons of food, but I was suddenly looking specifically for yogurt, which was conveniently lined against the back of the buffet. Notes: ... Foods Eaten: Pizza! Dream Location: Log Cabin somewhere in the cold? The Dream: I was in a house, it seemed very log cabin like. I was hanging out with someone, but they kept changing images. The person started as my boyfriend, but then turned into my old friend, Christian, then back to my boyfriend. Whatever the case, my mom was making fajitas in the kitchen. The person I was with sat down at a small, square, wooden table in the kitchen while we waited for my mom to finish cooking. When she did, she brought us each a plate, and we started eating. I distinctly remember the person being my boyfriend at that moment, and he looked up and exclaimed, "Mine are better!" (He was referring to his fajitas... and he does make some damn good fajitas...). We finished eating, then walked outside onto a porch, that had stairs leading down to a walkway. Snow covered the ground. We grabbed the lid of a trash can and started repeatedly sliding down the snow covered stai...

Notes: Watched "The Sandlot" with my boyfriend last night, the kid version of Benny Rodriguez reminded me of an old friend, Christian (in terms of looks and baseball). Foods Eaten: Lemon Pepper Chicken, Salad, Wheat Thins Dream Location: Some skewed version of my Grandma's house. The Dream: I don't quite remember the plot line of the dream, I was laying on a bed in my Grandma Sally's house with my friend, Christian. We were watching one of these old school TV's. I asked Chris if he'd ever seen "The Sandlot." He said of course he had. I told him that he reminded me of the kid version of Benny Rodriguez. He asked why and I responded with, "Well, you look like him sorta, and you played baseball!" We laughed about it for a minute. Then my Grandma walked in the room with my boyfriend behind her. She told us we had to do the dishes if we wanted to keep the TV. Think I woke up after that.
