Scenes from my Dreams

Notes: I had this one the other night, I woke up and remembered it vividly, but of course didn't write it down immediately and have since then forgotten anything more than the brief overview. The Dream: All I can recall was being in the air - I think I was inside of a helicopter or an airplane, but there were no obstructions from my aerial view. And the view was quite lovely, I distinctly recall seeing two islands surrounded by Caribbean blue waters. For some reason I recall the islands belonging to Japan, though I consciously know nothing about Japanese geography.

Notes: I'm really slacking with updating this lately... been busy. I've been trying a new method - setting two alarms in the morning, spread an hour apart. The objective here has been to try to induce more lucid dreams and improve dream recollection. I think if I would actually wake up and write the dream that I remember down when the first alarm goes off, I would have higher success ratios. But I do notice that after the first alarm, I tend to be more aware and wonder about a lot more things. Foods Eaten: Eggplant Parm Dream Location: On a boat The Dream: I was laying on a bed that wasn't my own, or a familiar one at all. I believe I had just woken up. I sat up and noticed a small round window. Peering out it, I saw beautiful large blue ocean waves. TJ was in the room with me, and I immediately pointed the waves out to them saying, "Wow! The current is rough today." He agreed. Pondering out loud I said, "I'm surprised I don't have sea sickne...

Notes: This is really bothering me because I can't remember my web designer teacher's name for the life of me. Foods Eaten: Eggplant Parm Dream Location: Somewhere tropical The Dream: I was walking around a very decorative looking fountain/palm tree area. It was bright out, there were stepping stones all over the ground. It was a beautiful location, obviously tropical or Caribbean. While I was standing at the fountain, I absentmindedly pulled out my cell phone and checked my facebook (I find it sad that I actually did this in my dream...) . I started scrolling down the list of recent news and noticed that my web design teacher from 9th grade (who's name I can't remember and I'm not even friends with on facebook) had posted on my wall. It read something like "You haven't designed my web page for me yet! I tried calling you but you haven't responded!" As soon as I read it, I put my phone away, and set on a search for the teacher... who conve...

Notes: Some friends of mine are all planning to go on a cruise together some time this year, we've been discussing who is going to go and what destination we want, so I'm guessing this was a result of some conversation. Even though its rather brief. Foods Eaten: Chicken Noodle Soup Dream Location: On Facebook... sad The Dream: The entirety of this dream happened withing a facebook message... all I was doing was reading new messages. I had recently sent one about wanting to go to the Caribbean as a destination for our cruise, and stated that I didn't think my sister or our friend Landon would realistically end up going. They both replied, saying that they did want to go, but neither of them wanted to go to the Caribbean, and instead elaborated about going to Alaska or something out west instead. (I didn't realize the fallacy of this until I woke up, as it would be rather difficult to take a cruise into the mid-west...)

Dream Notes: This dream was sort of like movie perspective, I was watching it, but not really in it. Foods Eaten: More gorging on food from a restaurant called Maggianno's. Dream Location: A sort of shack on a Caribbean beach. The Dream: A door opened and revealed a bunch of hammocks hung from the ceiling of an "upscale" shack. The entire back wall was non-existent, open to just the view of the ocean. Looking to the left, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner from the Pirates of the Caribbean walks in with a girl. He lifts her up into one of the hammocks and jumps in after her, they snuggle up, enjoying the scenery and each others comfort. The dream transitioned to me sitting in an office with a director of sorts. We were discussing whether or not I liked the scene I just watched. My dream memory ends around there, not a lot of details and I don't know if I woke up immediately after the dream or not.

Notes: No clue where this one came from. Foods Eaten: Pepperoni and Banana Pepper Pizza, Salad Dream Location: Airplane, Buildings floating in the Caribbean The Dream: I know it started on an airplane, though I don't know how we ended up sitting on some steps of a building that was literally in a Caribbean ocean. I don't remember the premises of the dream either, all I remember is that my entire family was there and my mom and dad were having an argument. I don't know what they were arguing about. I do recall my mom reminding me of Lucille Bluth from "Arrested Development". And I remember my sister and I swimming around this strange ocean city. When I woke up, I recalled having the previous two dreams I posted about, so I came up with a quick method to remember all three of them (Car Crash, X-files, Caribbean).
