Scenes from my Dreams

Notes: So the night before last, I took a B-vitamin, drank orange juice, and ate a banana - all which are supposedly helpful inducing lucid dreams and dream recall. In case you didn't notice, yesterday I didn't remember having a single dream, much less lucid. However I definitely had one that was all over the place last night! Foods Eaten: Greek Salad, Ice cream Dream Location: Some sort of apartment room, in a car, a downtown somewhere... The Dream: For some reason, my first memory is inside of a sort of distraught disheveled room. The carpet was a murky brown color, and it had that really fuzzy shag texture. The walls were a lighter sort of brown, and they were paneled. There was an ugly sofa in the room. My parents were sitting on it. I'm not totally sure what the situation was, but I seem to recall accidentally pushing my dad or leaning on him and him responding in pain. I asked what was wrong, and he said, "Internal bleeding around my chest." I asked ...

Notes: Not that this has anything to do with what happened in my strange dream, but one of our family dogs passed away last night. =( Foods Eaten: Lots of bread and a salad Dream Location: In an upstairs hallway of a house, outside The Dream: I was roller skating around a hardwood floor that seemed to be the upstairs of a house - though I'm not sure who's. My old school friend, Tana, was with me, also roller skating around. We were talking, though I don't remember the conversation. There was a staircase to the right, which Tana disappeared down. I went to follow, but the staircase seemed to have led me straight outside - with Tana nowhere to be seen. Instead, I found my soon-to-be cousin, Debra. We began chatting, though I, as usual, don't remember what about. I do remember her pointing across the very lush lawn that we were now in, at her fiancée (my actual cousin), Josh. I then remember her talking about creating framed presentations for all of his photogr...

Notes: ...I hate daylight savings time. Slept short and like crap. Foods Eaten: Stuffed Fish Dream Location: Some version of my house... The Dream: I think I had just returned to my house from vacation, and I remember it being some time in the middle of the night, around 1:00am. For some reason there were lots of chocolates and candy bars set up in dishes on our dining room table. I'm not sure why, but I was being sneaky about taking them, like I thought they were my dad's and he would get mad if he saw me eat them. Whatever the case, one of my parents ended up stashing them away. I kept pacing through my house, I must've been unpacking my stuff. I remember thinking that I should send TJ a text to let him know I got home safe, but I decided not to since it was late and I didn't want to wake him up. Eventually I ended up going to bed, I remember looking at a clock and it being 4:00 am. I thought about how I was going to dread going to work in the morning, so I ...

Notes: Transposing this one from my dream notes the other day, I didn't remember much of it then, and I remember even less of it now. Dream Location: Some sort of depot store The Dream: I had been walking around a gigantic depot store, seemed most similar to a Target, but more empty than any store I've ever been in. The shelving was miles apart from each other. I recall playing with some random toys in one section, and talking to some random guys - though I don't know what was said or who they were. I seem to recall continually walking around the store, and it eventually turned into an outdoors area. It was a large field of grass, and in the middle there was a tree... with my sister's Jeep wrapped around it. I didn't seem concerned about this, and I think I assumed she was fine. I think I made my way back inside the big store, and ran into an unfamiliar guy who invited me for a drink. I was being my usual charming self, and laughed and accepted in a flirting...

Dream Location: On a cruise ship The Dream: I was wandering around a cruise ship with TJ. We got in one of the elevators together, and I guess decided to pick a random number and hit it. The floor we happened to pick was the 13th floor, and when the elevator doors opened up to it, it had been completely demolished, and seemed as if we walked into it, we would be sucked into a black hole. We quickly closed the doors and went back to the main floor. On the ride down, I was thinking about how strange the missing floor seemed, and the thought that I might be dreaming crossed my mind, though I didn't actually seem to process it. Exiting on to the main floor, there seemed to be some kind of award ceremony going on. I passed by an old family friend, Emily Murray, who had just won some sort of prize. My mother's name was also called, and she walked up to a podium, where she too, received an award. While receiving it, I ran up to her and hugged her and had a teary, sentimental mome...

Notes: I read my lucid dreaming book last night, the section I read about "what you expect" is what happens. Though I wasn't lucid, I can see sort of that playing in this dream. (Expect TJ to be angry, expected his mom to not know if I played innocent, expect TJ to not know if I pretended.) It's curious. Foods Eaten: Ice Cream Dream Location: TJ's House The Dream: I was at some variation of TJ's house. He had just left to go to class or some such, and I was the only one at his house. I walked into the kitchen and pulled out a plate and fork, preparing to find something to eat. I opened the fridge and set the plate with the fork on top of it down on a shelf in there so I could get something else. I'm not sure what happened with the food idea, but I guess I abandoned it. While TJ was out, some daring part of me decided I wanted to put my 350z in their garage. When I went to the garage, TJ's Trans Am was already there. I went inside and grabbed...

Notes: I remembered the dream this morning, but forgot to write it down ASAP, and now I've forgotten. All I seem to remember is rolling balls with some other people... Foods Eaten: BBQ
